UPDATE: The man who died has been named locally.
A man died in Bexleyheath earlier this morning (May 16), after collapsing in the street.
Met Police were called to Bourne Mead at 7.25am, by the London Ambulance Service, to reports of a man who had collapsed.
The man, who was in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers believe they know his identity, and are trying to trace his next of kin.

A Met Police spokesman said: “The death is being treated as unexplained.
“At this early stage, the death is not believed to be suspicious.”
The road was reportedly cordoned off from around 7.40am.
