TWO robbers who made off with cash from a bookmaker are being hunted by police.
The pair struck at the Tote Bookmakers in Leander Drive, Gravesend, at 5pm on June 3.
One of the robbers stood at the door to the shop, armed with a knife, while a second made his way up to the cashiers and demanded they hand over a substantial amount of cash which was stuffed into a carrier bag.
Both then made off down an alleyway, which runs between the shop and pub next door, where they were seen by a man walking along.
The robber with the knife is described as white, 5ft 9in tall and stocky.
He wore dark tracksuit bottoms and a distinctive black crash helmet with an orange and red flame design.
The other man was also white but shorter and slim.
He was wearing a light green scarf which was pulled up over his face and black tracksuit bottoms.
Witnesses to the incident are being sought and police would also like to speak to the man who saw the pair as they ran off along the alleyway.
