A Bexleyheath mum will be watching her daughter on the big screen as a movie made about her streetdance group is coming to cinemas.

Streetdance Family will be shown in selected Odeon cinemas from May following the journey of Entity Allstars, as they seek for glory on the world stage.

Keir Walsh, 15, a dancer in Entity Allstars, who were also Britain’s Got Talent finalists last year, has made mum Laura Walsh very proud.

The Haslemere Road resident told News Shopper: “The movie revolves around Keir’s streetdance group that she’s involved with. It’s about what they've accomplished.

“The movie is mainly about their journey getting to the World Championship final in 2014.”

She added: “Keir joined the group in 2013 and has been dancing since she was three.

“I’m really proud of her – it’s a brilliant achievement. The film will be shown in selected Odeon cinemas.”

The film documents Entity Allstars' battle against all odds, with the trainers, young dancers and their families being forced to face their own personal problems throughout.

The film will premiere in Greenwich on May 26.

Tickets are available for STREETDANCE FAMILY only in selected cinemas from May 27. You must book in advance to secure your screening. To find your local screening, visit www.streetdancefamilymovie.com
