A 21-year-old man has died less than a week after being stabbed near Lewisham High Street.
Police were called by paramedics to reports of a stabbing in Molesworth Street, near the junction with the high street, on Saturday just after 8.30pm.
The victim, who was suffering a stab wound, was rushed to a south London hospital where he died this morning (May 5).
He is the second person knifed to death in the Lewisham borough this year, after 17-year-old Myron Yarde was fatally stabbed in New Cross on April, 3.
Next of kin have been informed and formal identification is yet to take place, police said.
