Emotional tributes have been paid to a "gentleman with the biggest heart" who was killed by a train near Dartford station on Monday (May 2).
The man been named locally as Leon, whilst police confirmed he was in his 30s.
Julie Davey knew Leon since he was 13 or 14 years old. She told News Shopper: "He was a friend of my son.
"He was the most kind genuine boy ever. He would be there for anyone who needed him, regardless of his own problems.
"He will be sorely missed by so many, as he touched all of our hearts in one way or another.
"Such a sad loss, a gentleman with the biggest heart - but a troubled soul".
Friend Jenny added: "God bless you Leon. You are free from the demons now. Sorry that we were unable to help you xxx".

Officers from the British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the railway line near Dartford at around 6.30am yesterday, after a body was found on the side of the track.
Paramedics also attended, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for the force said: "Officers from BTP, Kent Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service also attended where a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His family have been informed of his death."
He added: "The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner."
London bound trains were stopped and replacement buses were in operation until around 10.30am.
Southeastern initially reported the incident happened at Stone Crossing, but have since confirmed it was near Dartford station.
