QUALIFYING for the final of News Shopper's Wow Factor contest is entering its final phase.

Over the past few months visitors to News Shopper's website have been voting for their favourite photos out of the dozens of hot-looking young people who have entered the competition to find the most gorgeous girl and handsome hunk in the region.

Eight finalists have so far been selected during the voting process.

The last two will be announced on October 1 when the voting for September ends.

After that we will know all 10 finalists who will battle it out to be Wow Factor champions for 2007.

The final will take place next month when two overall winners will be chosen. They will win some fantastic prizes, including £500 hairdressing and products from Graham Webb International and an overnight escape for two worth £300 at Rowhill Grange Hotel and Utopia Spa.
