At least five knives have been recovered by police in Lewisham in the past 24 hours.
Lewisham police officers have shared pictures of the weapons, recovered during seperate incidents, via their Twitter page.
One of the knives was believed to have been dropped by a group of schoolchildren in Rushey Green, who ran off at the sight of officers.
In another incident, a kitchen knife was recovered after a woman stabbed her partner in the shoulder yesterday afternoon.
Later on, three people were arrested in a seperate incident where two knives were confiscated by police.
Lewisham MPS tweeted: "Another great stop by D response officers. Very nasty pair of knives taken off the streets."
