There’s no telling how residents of Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley are going to vote in the upcoming EU referendum, a YouGov poll revealed this week.

The research uses data from over 80,000 British people and ranks 188 Local Authorities from Eurosceptic to Europhile.

Lewisham and Greenwich ranked 116 and 105 respectively and were classed as mixed.

Bromley and Bexley meanwhile ranked 53 and 61, making them mixed but leaning towards Euroscepticism.

Most South East London MPs, including Heidi Alexander, Jo Johnson and James Brokenshire, are currently in favour of remaining in the EU, News Shopper reported last week.

Only MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford David Evennett said he was undecided and Beckenham MP Bob Stewart’s has yet to reveal his intentions.

In a ceremonial stunt, Bromley Council became the second publicly elected body to vote in favour of leaving the EU on February 22 with a motion moved by UKIP councillor David Livett.

The first council to vote against Britain's continued EU membership in Havering, which the YouGov poll found was the most Eurosceptic area in Britain.
