The jury in a murder trial have retired to consider their verdict after an illegal rave in Abbey Wood left a man dead.

Renea Campbell, 26, died in hospital after being stabbed in the heart following an unlicensed rave on the Lyndean Industrial Estate on June 20 last year.

Trimaine Laing, 27, Aiden McGown, 24, Rennae Henriques, 28, and Damion Fraser, 26, all from north London, are charged with murder, attempted murder, wounding with intent, violent disorder, and possession of a knife or bladed article.

MORE TOP STORIES Fraser pleaded guilty to possession of a knife or bladed article, but not guilty to all other charges.

The three other men, half-brothers McGowan and Henriques and their cousin Laing, deny all charges.

The court previously heard how Renea and his brother Rico, now 25, attended the illegal party along with about 400 other people.

A fight is alleged to have broken out as the event ended, around 5am.

Rico, now 25, was also stabbed in the attack which left his brother dead.

The jury of three men and nine women in their trial at the Old Bailey have now retired to consider their verdict on the charges.
