A Swanley man wants people to realise foxes are ‘not all cracked up’ and that they can get along with cats.
Peter Dyland, of Cedar Close, says his pet was always safe from the vixen that used to regularly visit his back garden two years ago.
The fox and Mr Dyland's cat
He would like people to stop stereotyping foxes and accept that not all of them are badly behaved.
Mr Dyland told News Shopper: “The fox would jump the wall into our garden and just sit and enjoy the sun in what she deemed a safe place.
“As you can see in the photos, her and my cat would check one another out and just settle down and snooze.
“I want to make the point that foxes aren't all cracked up with their labels of mischief and mayhem.
“Sadly the vixen and her cubs never turned up one day and that was the end of that - I expect someone shot or poisoned them.”
