A man, in his 20s, was rescued after falling from scaffolding at a construction site in Dartford this morning (February 11).
The worker managed to stop himself falling all the way, but was trapped on the fourth floor of the metal tower following the drop - which happened in Central Road just after 10am.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) used a high vehicle to reach the man and bring him to safety. He has since been taken to Darent Valley Hospital.
South East Coast Ambulance Servicesent two ambulances, a paramedic car and the hazardous response team to the scene.
A spokesman said: "Our hazardous area response team worked closely with the fire service, to get to a point where we could assess him.
"He has since been taken to Darent Valley Hospital for further treatment, suffering from hip and upper leg injuries."
KFRS were at the scene until 11.55am.
