A West Kingsdown pensioner has been charged with blackmail over an incident at a Sevenoaks bank.

Reginald Esqulant, 73, of Fawkham Road, will appear via video link at Medway Magistrates' Court today (February 11) following the incident at Santander in Sevenoaks High Street on Monday February 8.

Esqulant is also charged with taking a vehicle without an owner's consent, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
