Crash causes road closures on Blackwall Tunnel approach
A crash has caused queues at the Blackwall Tunnel in Greenwich.
Traffic is stretching back as far as the Kidbrooke Interchange on the A2, the Naval College near Trafalgar Road and Shooters Hill Road following the collision which happened at 8am today (February 11) in Blackwall Lane.
The crash happened in queuing traffic caused by a broken down vehicle that closed the tunnel briefly around 7am.
Two lanes were closed on the approach to the tunnel following the accident so emergency services could deal with a fuel spill.
