An elderly lady is recovering well after being hit by a car as strong winds blew her into the road.
The incident happened at 11:15am yesterday (February 8) in Crayford Road, near a Nando’s restaurant.
Commuters had to deal with a backlog of traffic.

A Met Police spokesman said: “We were called at 11.15am to Crayford Road after a woman was hit by a car.
“She has been taken to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.”
London Ambulance Service (LAS) was also at the scene.
