Police are hunting a "scruffy" looking man, who reportedly approached solitary women in the Dartford area, and tried to kiss them.

On all three occasions the "suspicious acting" suspect, who is in his 50s or 60s, went up to the ladies in the middle of the day - and asked if they were married.

Today Kent Police released an e-fit of the man - who is approximately 5ft8, of medium build and clean shaven.

He speaks with a southern accent, and drives a silver Ford Focus.

On January 19, the man allegedly approached a woman who was sat in a vehicle in Franks Lane, Horton Kirby, between 2pm and 2.10pm.

He asked if she was married, and tried to kiss her. The victim described the man as scruffy looking.

The next day, he reportedly approached a second woman in Westminster field, off Dartford Road in South Darenth, and again asked if she was married and tried to kiss her.

He was thought to be wearing light blue jeans, a blue quilted jacket, and black and white trainers.

The reported crimes happened in: Franks Lane (A), Dartford Road (B), and Horton Road (C). All three are in Horton Kirby/South Darenth.

Just two days after the first encounter, on January 21, a man was reported to have approached a third woman in Horton Road, Horton Kirby, between 10.45am and 10.50am.

The man asked if she was married, but did not touch her.

He was reportedly wearing a quilted navy jacket, jeans, chinos or trainers.
