London and the south-east will hover a few degrees above freezing but it is unlikely to get much above five degrees over the next day.

It will remain cold and dry overnight, leading to a widespread frost forming as the mercury drops to -3C.
Tomorrow will be a cold, clear and sunny day but despite the sun, temperatures will reach just 1C.
The weather is expected to remain chilly, dry and bright before gradually turning milder on Friday.
