Our south-east London and north Kent area had its first, and quite possibly last, snow of this winter over the weekend.
After it had been forecast for a while, we finally got some flakes on Saturday night.
It turned out to be a pretty pathetic dusting, though – and had all but disappeared by Sunday afternoon.
The rather sad snowfall didn't justify cliches such as saying the area was blanketed by the white stuff or looked like a winter wonderland, but we thought it was still worth asking for pictures anyway – it might be the only chance we get this year!
Below is a selection of the pictures we’ve been sent. Admittedly, depending where you were or how early you were up on Sunday, the snow was slightly better in places – although it was still a feeble effort overall by the weather.
If you want to add your wintry weather pictures fill in the form here, get in touch on Twitter @newsshopper or post on Facebook.
The chances of any snow days in the next week look slim, so bad luck to anyone hoping for a cheeky day off school or work.
After a cold day today we're then set for some milder days and rising temperatures as the week goes on.
