Plans to build 200 homes in Abbey Wood are gaining momentum after duo-investors purchased a one acre site.
Bridges Ventures and HUB have acquired the site close to Abbey Wood railway station as part of development specialist U+I’s Cross Quarter regeneration scheme.
£85m to be invested (c.) Cross Quarter
The plans are part of a £85m mixed-use project that will also include an 80 -100 bed hotel and are part of the final phase of the scheme.
Simon Ringer, partner and head of property funds at Bridges Ventures, said: "We’re delighted to be working with HUB on another residential project.
"As well as being a compelling commercial opportunity in an emerging growth location, we also believe it can also have a powerful social impact by contributing to the regeneration of this part of south-east London."
