A man has been charged after a string of offences around Plumstead including possession of a gun.
Unemployed David Biston, 33, was arrested by police on Sunday (November 22) after an investigation by Greenwich officers.
Biston, of no fixed abode, was charged the next day (November 23) with nine offences.
They include one count of robbery, possession of a firearm with intent, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, attempted robbery, possession of a bladed article, handling stolen goods and two counts of shoplifting.
MORE TOP STORIES The charges relate to one incident which happened at a petrol station on Plumstead Common Road around midday, and another in Vernham Road later in the afternoon.
Biston first appeared via video ling at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (November 24) and will next appear before Woolwich Crown Court on December 22.
