Friends have expressed their sadness and shock over the death of Mr Wiggins - who is believed to have left behind a pregnant girlfriend.

Despite efforts from Met Police officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics to save him, he died following a cardiac arrest just before 11pm.

Doreen Tong, from Crayford, told News Shopper: "Terry was our ginge and a top man.

"He was a great dad who always spoke so highly of his kids. I can’t believe he was taken from them in such a horrible way - my heart goes out to the children and his poor girlfriend.

"I still look around Crayford thinking that I’ll see him walk up the hill with his kids after school.

"I’ll miss his jokes and funny ways so much."
