A teenager from Lewisham who threw acid over a man in Essex has been jailed for 10 years.
Aarron Isaac, 19, of Elverson Road, was sentenced today after the attack on Wayne Ingold in Witham on August 8 last year.
Jake McCabe, 16, from London, was jailed for six years.
Both were found guilty by a jury of throwing a corrosive liquid with intent to cause GBH.
A judge at Chelmsford Crown Court today partially lifted reporting restrictions allowing media to publish McCabe's name and age.
Mr Ingold had gone to collect his post at his flat in Bramble Road, Witham, when he heard the pair banging on the door.
When he opened, it the liquid was thrown into his face and the boys ran off.

Mr Ingold, 57, suffered life-changing injuries to his face, neck, arms and hands and needed a series of painful skin grafts at Broomfield Hospital to help heal the scars.
After the verdict, he said: "Let’s be honest - they will do half that sentence, one will do five years, one will do three.
“It’s just a joke.
“I think these attacks have been quite prevalent over the last 18 months and this does not act as a deterrent.
“I am gobsmacked, speechless.”
