Bromley – Norman Park Firework Display and Family Funfair from 5pm on Friday, October 30

There’s something for all the family, including a funfair, in Bromley. Admission costs £5 on the gare and is free to children under three. There is limited free parking on site.

Westerham – Westerham Scout Group’s Firework Spectacular in King George’s Playing Field from 5.30pm on Saturday, October 31

As it’s Halloween, there will be prizes for the best dressed and a band playing in the clubhouse. There’s also a bar and a barbecue. Tickets cost £8 adults and £5 children from The George and Dragon, Hospice in the Weald and Westerham Sports Association. Call 01959 467045.

Vauxhall – Fire Festival at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens from 6.30pm on Saturday, October 31

Hear about the legend of the trickster god Loki and the dark elves as the Pleasure Gardens become Asgaard for the night. Dancers, fire performers, poets, magicians, musicians and singers combine in the story told before a roaring bonfire. It’s rounded off with music and fireworks. There’s food and drink of all sorts and entry is free. Go to vauxhalltrust.co.uk

Dartford – Dartford Lions Fireworks and Bonfire Extravaganza in Central Park from 5pm on Saturday, November 7

The Lions’ 41st Dartford fireworks includes a funfair, charity sidestalls and refreshments. The bonfire is lit at 7.15pm with the fireworks at 8pm. Tickets cost £4 adults and £2 children in advance or £5/£3 on the gate. Go to http://bit.ly/1GjBoe6

Crystal Palace – Crystal Palace Fireworks from 6pm on Thursday, November 5

This year marks a whopping 150 years of organised public fireworks at Crystal Palace and contains two shows – a children’s display at 7pm and the main show to music at 8.30pm. Tickets cost £6 adults, £4 children and £17.80 in advance or £10/£5/£25 on the gate and is free for infants under three. Limited parking costs £5 per car. Go to crystalpalacefireworks.co.uk

Southwark – Southwark Fireworks Night in Southwark Park from 5pm on Thursday, November 5

Last year, over 33,000 people went to the huge event in Southwark Park and this year it remains free but you’ll need a ticket. There’s food, drink and entertainment and last entry is 6.30pm. Go to southwark.gov.uk/southwarkpresents/fireworks

Gravesend – Gravesend Fireworks at Riverside Leisure Area (the Prom) from 5pm on Friday, November 6

A popular free display. Smith’s funfair operates from 5pm to 10pm and there’s music from a Foo Fighters tribute at 7pm and 8.30pm and a disco. The fireworks start at 8pm. Go to Gravesham.gov.uk

Erith – Firework Night at Erith Leisure Centre from 6pm on Friday, November 6

Chislehurst - Firework display at Farringtons School in Perry Street on Friday, November 6

The PTA at Farringtons is holding a display, costing £6 a ticket which will be available on the day. Gates open at 6.15, with the display kicking off at 7.30pm. Food and drink will be available.

Bexley – Bexley Village Fireworks at Baldwyns Freeholders Association Club in Baldwyns Park, from 6.30pm on Saturday, November 7

The club’s annual display features a bar, stall, glowsticks, mulled wine, ice cream and hot food. Entry costs £3 adults and £2 children.

Battersea – Battersea Park Fireworks Display from 6pm on Saturday, November 7

To celebrate our longest reigning monarch, this year’s fireworks are set to music and the theme is A Royal Night Out. There will be food and drink, including mulled wine, and street food pop-ups. The display is at 8pm. Tickets cost £8 up to November 6 and £10 on the day. Free to under 10s with a ticket. Go to wandsworth.gov.uk

Caterham – Caterham Fireworks in Dene Field from 6pm on Saturday, November 7

Caterham and District Round Table’s event starts with a torch lit parade which leaves Westway Library at 6.30pm so arrive early to buy a torch. The bonfire is lit at 7.15pm with the display after. There’s also a Build a Guy competition with a £50 prize (entries must be delivered to the field by 1pm). There’s also food, drinks and fairground attractions. Entry costs £5 and under fives go free. Blackheath – Blackheath Fireworks Display from noon on Saturday, November 7

Another one of London’s mega displays with up to 100,000 people going each year. There’s a funfair from noon, food stalls and a bar from 8pm and the fireworks themselves at 8pm. There’s no charge but there will be donation collections. Go to Lewisham.gov.uk

Beckenham – Beckenham Round Table Fireworks and Funfair at Croydon Road Recreation Ground from 6pm on Saturday, November 7

The funfair operates from 6pm, with the display at around 8pm. Entry prices have yet to be fixed but under fives go free. Go to rt104.weebly.com

Chislehurst – Chislehurst Rotary Fireworks at Chislehurst Recreation Ground from 6pm on Saturday, November 7

The professional display is accompanied by a children’s funfair, sideshows, stalls and a hog roast with profits going to good causes. Entry costs £6 adults, £3 children under 14 and £15 families in advance or £7/£4 on the gate. Children under four go free when accompanied. Go to http://bit.ly/1GVMHDZ

Hayes – Hayes Schools’ Family Fireworks Display at Hayes Primary School, George Lane, from 5.30pm on Saturday, November 7

The display for all ages is set to music with mulled wine, hot drinks and food available. Tickets cost £6 adults, £4 children and students and £16 families before November 1, and £7/4/18 after. Children under three go free. Go to http://bit.ly/1LH8YaQ

West Wickham – West Wickham Fireworks Display at Langley Park School for Girls from 6pm on Saturday, November 7

The 21st annual event includes a 17 minute display alongside music from the rock and roll era. There’s food and hot drinks and money raised going to charities and the school. Tickets cost £6.50 adults, £3.50 children on the gate. Family tickets (£15) are available in advance from Matthews Jewellers and a number of schools nearby. Go to westwickhamfireworks.co.uk

Welling – Danson Park Fireworks from 6pm on Saturday, November 7

Welling Round Table’s fireworks in the park include a 25 minute display set to music as well as a funfair, stalls and food and drink. Tickets cost £6 adults or £4 children in advance or £10/£5 on the gate. Go to dansonparkfireworks.co.uk

Brands Hatch – Truck Racing and Fireworks on Sunday, November 8

The trucks return to Brands Hatch on November 7 and 8 for a weekend of high-octane racing and a big firework display follows the final race on Sunday. There will also be monster trucks, a kidspace marquee, funfair rides and showtrucks. Sunday admission costs £18 adults and £10 teenagers in advance or £23/£12 on the gate. Children under 13 go free.
