A "dedicated" 10-year-old has been awarded the Barnehurst scout group's 100th silver award - the highest honour possible.
Keen climber and kayaker Dylan Randall won the award for completing his global, promise, creative, community, outdoor and fitness challenges – and helped his pack achieve their 100 "milestone".
During Dylan's two years as a scout, he has done everything from emergency first aid, to an evening visit to the Herstmonceux Observatory.
The excited winner said: "The biggest challenges that I faced was learning knots for the Pioneer Badge, and the hard gardening work for the Global Conservation Badge."
Cub Scout Leader Steve Morley added: "Achieving these badges shows great dedication.
"Well done to Dylan, and to all of the cubs and leaders, past and present, who have helped the pack to achieve this magnificent milestone.
"I hope this encourages many more young people to get involved in scouting, complete many more badges whilst having as much fun as possible."

Dylan also won a prize for completing the most badge work over the summer, and was made September's 'cub of the month'.
He was given his prize on October 6, by deputy county cub commissioner for Bexley, Nigel Stockbridge.
