Former Gravesend mum-of-12, Cheryl Prudham - who pockets £40k a year in benefits - has spent £1,300 on her son's sixth birthday.

Mrs Prudham, 33 and 31-year-old husband Rob, fled their Hampton Crescent home and moved to Lancashire in May amid claims of a 'hate campaign'.

The couple are now set to a appear in a controversial Channel 5 documentary 'Benefits: Britain’s Most Shameless Mum.'

Following the pair and their massive brood in the lead up to the birth of twelfth baby, Tillie-Grace Ellen, the programme sees six-year-old Leon lavished with a £500 on a 50cc petrol quad bike with a personalised number plate.

The extravagant gift comes on top of a bouncy castle for £650, before spending £150 on other items, including a new school backpack.

The youngsters mum has a strong message for anyone with an opinion on her spending, saying: "Anyone that's got an opinion can get stuffed.

"I think f*** you, this is my beautiful family - I have chosen to have a big family because I want one, not because of money, or because I'm greedy or because I'm a sponger."

Mrs Prudham, who will be seen likening herself to Princess Diana, adds: "I'm just taking what the government gives me: if you find a tenner in the street you're going to pick it up, aren't you?

"If you think that I'm taking your tax and hard-earned money, you can set up a direct debit and you can transfer directly to me... cut out the middle man if you want."

Benefits: Britain’s Most Shameless Mum airs on Channel 5 at 9pm on Monday, October 19.
