Two lorries crashed on the M25 causing traffic chaos.

Queues built up as a lane closed between the Swanley Interchange and the Darenth Interchange following the accident which happened at 11.45am today. 

TOP STORIES:  A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 11.45am following a collision involving two lorries and a car.

“The collision occurred between junction 3 and 2, anticlockwise.

“Officers and Secamb attended the scene and one of the lorry drivers was treated at the scene for a head injury, which was not believed to be serious.

“The scene was cleared by 2pm.”

South East Coast Ambulance service (SECAMB) were called to the accident and assessed the drivers of all three vehicles at the scene.

A spokesman for SECAMB said: “We sent a car and an ambulance.

“Everybody was checked over at the scene, nobody was seriously injured and everybody was able to be discharged
