A man has been rearrested in connection with the death of a 17-year-old in Brockley.

Nassem Galleze died on Saturday (September 26) when a lump of concrete was thrown at the car he was travelling in.

It is believed the Vauxhall corsa came under attack while leaving the Turnham estate.

It crashed into a lamppost on St Norbert Road after its windshield was smashed as it fled at speed.

The gang dispersed.

The student, from Roundtable Road in Grove Park, was taken to hospital where he later died from multiple injuries.

Two other occupants suffered minor injuries.

MORE TOP STORIES A 21-year-old man was rearrested yesterday (October 7) on suspicion of violent disorder and suspicion of an offensive weapon.

He remains in custody at a south London police station.

He was originally arrested on Sunday (September 27) and had been out on bail.

Three other men aged 20, 21 and 23 were also arrested the day after the attack.

On Tuesday (September 29) two more men aged 19 and 22 were arrested.

The 19-year-old has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The 22-year-old, Remi Moore from Walthamstow, is to appear before Woolwich Crown Court next Friday (October 16) charged with  violent disorder.

Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh, of the Homicide and Major Crime Command, who is leading the investigation, said: "This arrest further demonstrates the thorough and meticulous work of my officers as they continue to work through the evidence surrounding Nassem's murder.

“We will find those responsible for this crime and they will face justice."
