Hollywood star Renée Zellweger is filming scenes for Bridget Jones three in Woolwich.

Ms Zellweger, widely known for portraying the hapless character, was in Sainsbury’s, along Calderwood Road, shooting for the upcoming film yesterday (October 7).

Shopper Sian Donaldson was out shopping with her daughters, aged six and eight, when they bumped into the star.

Ms Donaldson, from near Well Hall Road, told News Shopper: "She's a really lovely women who spoke to my daughter about filming and how they pretend to be people.

"She also told my youngest who was eating a fruit tart how lovely it looked.

"Renée was charming to talk to and have a giggle with she was walking in and out the shop from 4pm till 5pm quite happily talking to people who were asked to wait to leave the shop until the filming finished in door way, then Renee stood next to us and chatted away."
