A Sidcup man has been sentenced for money laundering after being found with nearly £30,000 in the boot of his car.
Frederick O’Connor, 43, was jailed for 12 months, suspended for two years, at Croydon Crown Court on September 8.

The Station Road resident pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering.
On November 30 2012, O’Connor was stopped by police while driving an Audi in Blackbrook Lane, Bickley - police found the money in his boot.
He pleaded guilty to the possession of criminal property on September 8, contrary to Section 329 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, and agreed to forfeit the entire £29,655 found in his car.
