A Gravesend man is among eight members of a Kent drugs ring jailed for 74 years between them.

Peter Glisson, 32, of Palmer Avenue, pleaded guilty to offences involving possession of firearms and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday (August 28).

He was sentenced to 14 years and 11 months in prison.

Glisson was arrested following an investigation run by Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate between May 2013 and June last year.

Simon Khalil, 34, from Rusthall, and Terry Maloney, 33, from Tunbridge Wells were found to be running a network of drug dealers.

TOP STORIES:

Kahlil was jailed for 12 years and four months and Maloney for seven years and eight months, at the same court on the same day, after pleading guilty to supplying cocaine and money laundering.

Four men and a woman were also jailed for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
