In the early hours of yesterday morning, police in Bexley arrested two people in connection with narcotics.

Officers from Thamesmead Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) raided Clewer House, in Wolvercote Road, at 6.30am following intelligence that drug dealing was taking place.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession, with intent to supply, after police recovered bags of cannabis, scales, three mobile phones and over £1,000 in cash.

Both men have been bailed to return to a south-east London police station later in the year, pending further enquiries.
