Three people from Eltham have been charged with attempting to arrange a forced marriage.
Razia Begum, 51, who’s unemployed, Nazrul Islam, 57, a chef, and Nwaz Ahmed, 31, a sales assistant, have all been charged with one count of false imprisonment, one count of common assault and attempting to arrange a forced marriage.

The trio, all from Ealdham Square, were arrested on Friday (July 31) and charged on Saturday (August 1) when they appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court.
They were all served with a Forced Marriage Protection Order, which is intended to protect people who may be at risk.
They will next appear at Woolwich Crown Court on August 14.
