A fire broke out in Dartford yesterday (July 30) destroying 50 square metres of heathland.
Kent Fire and Rescue were called to Chapel Drive at around 1.50pm where they used flexi packs and beaters to extinguish the fire.

By 2.04pm the fire had been successfully put out, with fire crews continuing to damp down for a further 20 minutes.
