A Gravesend has appeared in court over a pub assault and the theft of £300 from a Northfleet fish and chip shop.
Delroy Samuel, 34, of Jubilee Crescent assaulted a man at a pub in Windmill Street, Gravesend, on April14, Medway Magistrates' Court heard.
On the same day he broke into a fish and chip shop in Dover Road, Northfleet, and stole £300 in cash.
Samuel pleaded guilty to assault and burglary.

On July 16, at the same court, he was sentenced to 60 days in prison, suspended for 12 months and a 90 day curfew to remain at an address in Windmill Street between 8pm and 8am each day until October 15.
He must also pay £600 compensation, £100 costs, a £180 criminal courts charge and an £80 victim surcharge.
