A man who was tasered whilst being detained by police on Friday evening (July 24) will appear in court today.
Christopher Smith, of the Brent, Dartford, was charged with two counts of obstructing or resisting a constable in execution of duty and using threatening words.
The 36-year-old is expected to appear at Bexley Magistrates' Court today after being remanded in custody over the weekend.
Smith was taken to a central London hospital on Friday evening after police officers discharged their tasers on Harrow Manor Way in Abbey Wood.

A Met Police spokesman said two police officers were injured during the arrest.
Both officers were offered medical treatment and have returned to duty.
