Police are investigating after a teenage girl was allegedly raped in St Mary Cray on Saturday (July 18).
Officers were called at around 6pm to reports of a sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl at Riverside Gardens.
A section of Riverside Gardens was cordoned off after the attack, which happened between 4pm and 6pm.
Forensic teams were seen searching the area on Sunday morning and a lone police officer was on duty outside the cordon on nearby Kent Road during the afternoon.
Officers from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are investigating.
