One of the suspects charged in connection with the Hatton Garden jewellery heist has had his planning application approved by Dartford Borough Council.
Paul Reader, 50, applied for the non-material amendment a month before his arrest in June to install a roof light in two houses on Dartford Road.
The application relates to Laurel House and Holly House which are currently under construction after being granted planning permission in 2010.
Mr Reader's application was approved last night (June 2) by the development board, despite concerns raised by three neighbours in regard to overlooking and the use of roof space as accommodation.
The planning report deemed the proposal "acceptable" and recommended it for approval.
Brian Reader, 76, was also charged with conspiracy to burgle.
The suspects, who have a combined age of 532, are all also charged with conspiracy to conceal, disguise, convert or transfer criminal property, namely a quantity of jewellery and other items, between April 1 and May 19.
