Police searching for a missing dog walker, originally from Gravesend, have found a body of a man near Whitstable.
Alan Nichols, 47, left his home in Whitstable at 6pm on June 11 to take his dog for a walk but never returned.

Police officers were called by the Kent Search and Rescue Service to West Blean Nature Reserve at 8.30pm on Wednesday (July 1), where they discovered a body.
Mr Nichols is believed to have grown up in Gravesend and attended Thamesview School.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
Mr Nichols' family have been informed but formal identification has yet to take place.
