The sun blazed as thousands of revellers turned out to sink a few pints at a Bromley beer festival over the weekend.
Volunteers organised the festival, with 24 ales sponsored by local companies, ciders and wine, to raise money to invest in the play area at Whitehall Recreation Ground.
The Friends of Whitehall Recreation Ground group, in partnership with Bromley Council, plans to provide equipment for older children visiting the park on Southlands Road.
Co-organiser Stacey Collier, 51, of Blenheim Road, said: "We want a section of the play area that will appeal to older children.
"Hopefully, we’re going to have a zip wire, some trampolines and a big climbing frame."
A bottled Turner's Festival Ale made especially for the event
Fellow organiser Melinda Folkes, 46, of Bloomfield Road, said: "It was our first big event. It went really well. It was really busy – a lot busier than we anticipated."
Visitors also enjoyed a fun fair, food stalls, a BBQ and local musicians performing live onstage.

Two teams were also sponsored to clamber 4,406ft, the height of Ben Nevis, on a climbing wall.
