A Woolwich man has been charged with the murder of an 82-year-old-man at his home in Sidcup.
Emergency services were called to Pembury Crescent around 4pm on June 19.
They found 82-year-old Arthur Walters-Girout dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death to be a head injury.
Raymond Sykes, 35, of Reugg House, Woolwich, was charged with his murder and fraud by false representation yesterday (June 24).
Two other men, Jason Hill, 23, and Ashley Hill, 21, both of Claydon Mews, Greenwich, have been charged with fraud by false representation.
They appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court yesterday (June 24) and will next appear in custody at Croydon Crown Court on July 8.
