A man has been injured after the car he was driving flipped onto its roof in Foots Cray.

Met Police officers, London fire crews and London Air Ambulance medics are on the scene of the crash which happened in Cray Road at 4.45pm today (June 18).

A Met Police spokesman said: "The male driver's injuries are not believed to be life threatening."

A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed crews had been called to the scene but that the driver was not trapped in his car.

One lane was closed on Cray Road at the junction with Edgington Way and the Sidcup By-Pass Road.

Roads were reopened just before 5.30pm.
