Drivers have been advised to avoid the Dartford Tunnel this morning (June 18).
Dartford Tunnel traffic is queueing back eight miles anti-clockwise, all the way to Orpington.

Another day - another long queue into #Essex thru #Dartford tunnel. These improvements aren't really working ... are they?

The queues follow a crash between two lorries at Tilbury in Essex at around 4.45am.

A spokesman for Highways England said: "Queues are almost back to J27 M11, also down the A12 into London, and both ways along the A13.
"Diversion: Via the slip road off, around the roundabout and back on again."
