Check out the new trailer for Guy Ritchie’s blockbuster reboot of Man From UNCLE.

The Lock, Stock and Sherlock Holmes director’s 1960s spy thriller used filming locations around south London, north Kent and Surrey – as well as exotic vistas in Italy.

Ritchie has re-envisaged  the classic TV show about two secret agents from either side of the Cold War who are thrown together to save the world.

British Man of Steel star Henry Cavill plays the suave US agent Napoleon Solo while Armie Hammer is his Soviet counterpart Illya Kuryakin.

Testament of Youth’s Alicia Vikander and Hugh Grant co-star.

Already familiar with maritime Greenwich from making his Robert Downey Jnr-starring Sherlock Holmes, Ritchie used the Old Royal Naval College and the University of Greenwich as locations.

He also returned to Kent’s Chatham Historic Dockyard.

Elsewhere in south London, Man from UNCLE filmed in Brockwell Park and a house in Padfield Road near Brixton.

In Surrey, the production used Hankley Common in Elstead, Aldershot Common.

The film is out August 14.
