Lewisham and Greenwich rail services are experiencing severe delays due to signalling problems at New Cross.
Services from Greenwich and Lewisham are expected to be delayed by around 20 minutes while the problem is being dealt with.
Greenwich and Woolwich MP Matthew Pennycook tweeted: "Held at a signal outside Deptford station for the last 15 minutes with absolutely no explanation, just another morning on @SE_Railway."
A Southeastern spokesman said: "We currently have problems with signalling in the New Cross area, Network Rail are trying to rectify the issue. Sorry about this."
