An accident on the M25 stopped the anti-clockwise carriageway causing travel chaos in Orpington.

A crash earlier this morning (June 7) involving a motorcycle brought traffic to a near standstill on the M25 anti-clockwise.

The accident happened between Junction 5, near Chevening, and Junction 4, at Orpington.

Traffic is reported to be particularly heavy along the A224 the Orpington-by-Pass, but is thought to be easing on the M25.

MORE TOP STORIES Two lanes were reported closed and just one open following the smash, with the Highways England warning of long delays.
