Lifeboats crews were called to Erith following reports of a person threatening to jump into the Thames.
The RNLI lifeboat from Gravesend was launched at 6.09pm yesterday (June 4) to search the banks of the river alongside police officers and a police helicopter.

Nothing was found during the search.
A RNLI spokesman said: "The lifeboat was launched to a despondent person threatening to enter the river near Erith.
"With nothing being found the lifeboat was then stood down and returned to station."
