Ever wanted to throw things at Southeastern staff while they were in the stocks? Here’s your chance.

The train company is holding the Local Extravaganza Fun Day at Shortlands station, on Shortlands Road, this Saturday (June 6).

The car park will be filled with a variety of activities such as apple bobbing, lucky dips, raffles, a plant sale and stalls selling food and drink.

Running from 10am – 3.30pm, the day is raising money for charity Help for Heroes.

Managing director David Statham said: “We at Southeastern are really, very proud that the Shortlands extravaganza will again be held at the local train station.

“We encourage everyone who can to come along and make it an even bigger success than last time.

“The more that do, the more that will be raised for Help the Heroes, a very worthy cause.”

This year’s event will be attended by the Mayor of Bromley Coun Kim Botting and MP Bob Stewart.
