Fire fighters battle van fire
Firefighters were called to Manor Way, Swanscombe this afternoon to a fire involving a van, a quantity of tyres, grass and undergrowth.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and beaters to extinguish the blaze by 3.15pm.
They are likely to remain on the scene until 4.30pm, damping down and turning over.
