Charlton players get hands on Premier League trophy
Is this a glimpse of the future? Young footballers at Charlton's training academy got their hands on the Premier League trophy this week.
Children and adults at a football course at the New Eltham ground got a rare chance to have their photo taken with the silverware.
Head of business support at Charlton Athletic Community Trust Kathy Smart said: "It was fantastic to see so many young people excited about the visit of the Barclays Premier League Trophy.
"The day went really well with everyone enjoying themselves and getting plenty of photos."
The course was run by the Football Foundation with support from Barclays, which runs 200 Spaces for Sports sites across the country.
