Staff and volunteers from Greenwich and Bexley community hospice endured heights of 3,560ft in a bid to raise £1,000 for the centre.
They took on a two-day high ropes experience and escorted hike up Mount Snowdon- the highest peak in Wales- over the early mayday bank holiday weekend.
The group of 11 adventurers, made up of clinical and non-clinical staff, was led by Bobby McGuane from Beyond Boundaries outdoor adventures.
The charity's chief executive Kate Heaps described the high ropes course as "terrifying".
"I did it, despite my absolute fear of heights, because my sponsorship depended on me completing the whole challenge," she said.

The hospice’s fundraising manager Sarah O’Halloran said: “We were prepared for the poor weather conditions. The rain came down but it added to the sense of achievement when we reached the summit."
Sponsorship is still coming in but the team expects to raise a minimum £1,000 for the hospice, enough to supply the inpatient unit with medicine for five days.
