Kids were delighted when their Erith primary school opened a new nursery and special needs wing on Tuesday (May 19).
Belmont Primary School is a designated school for pupils with vision impairment.
The school wanted to improve its specialist facilities and resources for pupils with physical, medical or special learning needs, with the new Russell House building.

Bexley Mayor Howard Marriner attended the event, which took place between 2pm and 3pm.
Executive headmistress Madelaine Caplin said: "Belmont School prides itself on its warm and welcoming ethos and its inclusive approach.
"For many years the school has been the designated school for pupils with vision impairment.

"It is also an assessment centre for pupils with a range of complex needs.
"However the accommodation for these children was inadequate.
"The school worked closely alongside the local authority to make sure that the changes were made with minimal disruption and minimal cost.
"As you can see the result is just what parents, teachers and children wanted.
